Brazil president announces replacement of Minister of Justice

President Michel Temer on Sunday (May 28) decided to replace the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Osmar Serraglio, by Torquato Jardim, who is currently serving as Minister of Transparency. Serraglio, in turn, will replace Torquato in the Ministry of Transparency.

The decision was announced by the press office of the presidency in a statement, which did not explain the reasons. Serraglio had been in office as Justice Minister since March.
