Brazil’s Labor Ministry confirmed to be dissolved
Its duties will be incorporated into three other ministries

Brazil’s Extraordinary Government Transition Minister Onyx Lorenzoni confirmed the dissolution of the country’s Ministry of Labor on January 1, when President-Elect Jair Bolsonaro is slated to take office. The statement was made Monday (Dec. 3).
Lorenzoni declared that the responsibilities of the ministry will be incorporated into those under the ministries of Justice, Economy, and Citizenship.
Bolsonaro is expected to tap the future leaders of the ministries of the Environment and Human Rights.
