The president made the statement to the press after a meeting with the President of Guyana, Irfaan Ali, during his visit to Georgetown, the capital of the neighboring country.
The Brazilian president and the prime minister of Barbados met in Georgetown on the sidelines of the 46th Summit of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community.
He also spoke about the impact of the ongoing wars on the planet and cited the war in Ukraine and the conflict in the Gaza Strip, which he once again classified as genocide.
