The Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Relations believes the Mercosur countries (Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay) agree on their efforts to turn the bloc into a tool for boosting competitiveness and the integration of their economies with both global and regional markets.
Brazilian President Michel Temer is attending the 53rd Summit of Heads of State of Mercosur and Associate States. After the meeting, a lunch will be offered by Uruguayan President Tabaré Vásquez to presidents and chancellers.
Brazilian President Michel Temer is to take part in the 12th Conference of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries—CPLP in the original Portuguese—in Cape Verde, which begins today and lasts up to Wednesday (Jul. 18).
