The federal government will publish, in the next edition of the Federal Official Gazette (DOU), a decree that creates the National Intellectual Property Strategy (ENPI) for the period between 2021 and 2030.

According to a note published by the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, the instrument aims to guide initiatives that "contribute to the country's competitiveness and economic and social development."

“The Strategy will serve as an important instrument to facilitate the coordination and integration of Federal Government policies in the area of intellectual property, respecting the competences of each Ministry and Organ for the execution of Intellectual Property policies”, informs the document.
