The São Paulo City Hall announced that the city will have the traditional New Year's Eve party again in 2023. The last two editions of the festivity, which takes place at Avenida Paulista, were suspended due to the covid-19 pandemic.

According to the city administration, shows of renowned artists will take place on a large stage measuring 16 meters wide, 20 meters deep and 8 meters high. São Paulo Turismo (SPTur), responsible for the event's infrastructure, informed that the stage will be assembled by SP Eventos, a company chosen by electronic bidding.

"The 2022/23 event will follow the tradition with musical performances before and after midnight on Avenida Paulista. The program is being defined, aiming to please all audiences", informed the city hall in a note.

The stage will start to be assembled on the 21st. The structure will start to be disassembled right after the shows, on the 1st. By the 3rd, the whole apparatus will have been removed from the road, according to the city hall.
