Brazil Superior Electoral Court decided to postpone the deliberations on the motion filed by the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (PSDB) arguing for the invalidation of Rousseff and Temer's ticket, which won the country's presidential elections in 2014. The session was held Tuesday morning (Apr. 4), but the majority of the court members granted the request made by Rousseff's attorneys for five more days.

The trial should not be resumed until the last week of April. The decision also takes into consideration the Holy Week as well as the schedule of official trips of Electoral Court Chief Judge Gilmar Mendes, spearheading the case.
