More than 1,000 police officers work to secure Lula's inauguration
The security of President Lula's inauguration will involve more than a thousand federal police officers. According to the Brazilian Federal Police (PF), they will work in the areas of intelligence and protection of authorities and will be integrated with the Integrated Center of Operations of the Public Safety Secretariat of the Federal District.
The PF also informs that it will operate with the other security forces in favor of the presidential inauguration events, in order to fulfill its legal attributions as well as to guarantee, in an effective way, the protection of the authorities under its responsibility.
"The protection of each authority goes through a risk analysis, which indicates the appropriate level of protection and the security apparatus that will be made available. New facts are always taken into consideration and, if necessary, can lead to an eventual increase in protection and readjustments in operational planning, which is dynamic," the Federal Police says in a statement.
