Dollar below R$3.60 for first time since August
Today was the fourth consecutive day with the US currency on the wane.

The dollar closed out this Friday (Mar. 11) below R$3.60 for the first time since Augusto, when it stood at R$3.591, down 1.38%. It is the lowest level since August 28, 2016, when it was reported at R$3.585.
It was the fourth day straight with the US currency on the wane—down 4.5% in the week, 10.3% in March, and 9.04% year-to-date.
At Bovespa, the São Paulo Stock Exchange, the day was marked by ups and downs. Its index, the Ibovespa, finished the day close to steady, with a 0.07% slide, at 49,538 points.
The stock at Petrobras, the most active traded, closed the Friday on the rise. 2.85% for common shares and 1.76% for preferred shares—their highest since late November last year.
