Banks will not open this Friday in Brazil

Bank branches across the country will not open to the public this Friday (30). The banking will only return on Monday (2). The information is from the Brazilian Federation of Banks (Febraban).

According to the entity, on days when the branches are closed the population can use electronic banking services, such as mobile and internet banking, ATMs, phone banking and correspondent to make financial transactions.

"The bills and consumption accounts (such as water, energy, telephone, etc.) due on the holiday [the 1st] may be paid without surcharge on the next business day. Normally, the dates of taxes are already adjusted to the holiday calendar, whether federal, state or municipal," said Febraban.
