World Cup: Brazil to face Serbia, Switzerland, Cameroon in first round

Brazil’s debut in World Cup Qatar will be on Nov. 24 against Serbia

Brazil is to face Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon in Group G of this year’s World Cup. The draw was held at the Doha Convention and Exhibition Center in Qatar, the host country of the competition, which will last from November 21 to December 18 this year. The home team will play the opening game against Ecuador.

Coach Tite’s team will debut against Serbia on November 24, Thursday. Four days later, on Monday, they should face the Swiss. Their participation in the first round ends on Friday, December 2, against Cameroon.

The World Cup groups are as follows:

Group A: Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, and the Netherlands.

Group B: England, Iran, the US, and Wales or Scotland or Ukraine

Group C: Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland.

Group D: France, Peru or the United Arab Emirates or Australia, Denmark, and Tunisia

Group E: Spain, Costa Rica or New Zealand, Germany, and Japan

Group F: Belgium, Canada, Morocco, and Croatia.

Group G: Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon.

Group H: Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, and South Korea.
