With deputies and senators already in recess, the president of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), confirmed that this Friday (17) there will be a session of the National Congress for the consideration of 29 presidential vetoes. The list includes vetoes dealing with the privatization of Eletrobras (36/2021) and those concerning the definition of the crime of deceptive mass communication ( fake news ) and attacks on the right to demonstrate (46/2021).

Related to health, the agenda has vetoes to three proposals: on breaking patents on vaccines and medicines to fight the covid-19 pandemic (48/2021), on the Program for the Protection and Promotion of Menstrual Health (59/2021), in addition to providing access to chemotherapy treatments for users of health plans (41/2021).
