Brazil and Croatia are opening the new stage of the World Cup in Qatar, the quarter-finals. The match, scheduled for 12 pm Brasília time on Friday (Dec. 9), will be held at the Education City stadium. On the same day, starting at 4 pm, the Netherlands and Argentina face each other at the Lusail stadium.
On Saturday (10), Morocco, who are competing for the first time in the quarterfinals of a World Cup, play against Portugal at the Al Thumama stadium in search of a spot in the semifinals. Four hours later, England and France will wrap up the quarterfinals at the Al Bayt stadium.
The Round of 16 ended with Portugal’s 6–1 thrashing of Switzerland on Tuesday. Earlier in the day, Morocco dispatched Spain after a 3–0 penalty shootout win.
