The heavy rain that hit São Paulo city this Sunday (Dec. 2) has led a large part of the capital into an alert state for flooding. According to the Climate Emergencies Management Center (CGE in Portuguese), only the east part of the city did not enter into an alert status.

So far, no flooding areas have been observed in the capital, according to CGE.

This Tuesday (Dec. 3), the weather shall remain as it is today, with rain showers, lightnings and wind gusts in the afternoon.
